Bringing together sports and academia from the tertiary education sector in Hong Kong SAR
- to promote sporting spirit and friendship through top-level sports competitions;
- to promote an elite athlete friendly culture in the tertiary education sector;
- to promote sporting opportunities for the benefit of all.

Vision |
To be recognized for excellence in promoting university sports competitions and events at the local, regional andinternational levels, and providing professional guidance and high standard sports facilities conducive to safeand effective training and competition.

Objectives and key roles |
- Provide a sports platform for university students to compete and interact;
- Promote sports values such as fairness, teambuilding, discipline, respect, perseverance,integrity,
friendship, equality and inclusion which benefit society as a whole; - Facilitate and co-ordinate the development of sports, sports competitions and activities amongst itsmembers;
- Establish rules and regulations to ensure that all members abide by the constitution of USFHK;
- Liaise with the sports associations, relevant government departments and national sports federations, withrespect to sports at the tertiary education sector;
- Associate with national and international federations to facilitate and co-ordinate delegations and eventsof high performance university students sports teams representing Hong Kong SAR;
- Raise and administer funds for USFHK in such a manner as USFHK may deem advisable and, in particular,by means of subscription, donations and sponsorships.
