Provisional Programme

The programme of the competitions will be determined by the Organizing Committee. In principle, the competition programme will last for up to four (4) days. The tentative programme is set as follows:

Participants

  • Participants of 2nd Asian University Table Tennis Championship (AUTTC) 2010
  • Have to be students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at the university or similar institute whose status is recognized by the appropriate national academic authority of their country/region, or former students who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in 2009 summer or winter.
  • Must be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on January 1st 2010
    (Date of birth must be between January 1st, 1982 and December 31st, 1992)
  • Must have full passport-holding citizenship of the country/region they represent.

Number of Delegation

  • Each country/region may enter a maximum of sixteen(16) persons of which ten(10) may be competitors, five(5) officials and one(1) international umpire Note1.
  • Each participant is restricted to enter up to 2 individual events in additional to one of the team events.
  • Each country/region may enter in:
    Individual Events
    • Men: maximum five (5) players
    • Women: maximum five (5) players
    Team Events
    • Men: one (1) team of five (5) players
    • Women: one (1) team of five (5) players
  • At the first General Technical Meeting, the Head of Delegation or his representative shall confirm and sign the official lists of the competitors accredited by the International Committee for Supervision Control and Arbitration of AUSF (CISCA).

Note 1: Each delegation is required to provide one (1) ITTF white badge or blue badge international umpire. A charge of U.S. Dollar One Thousand (USD 1,000) will be collected if no international umpire is provided.

Financial Condition

  • Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) registration fees:
    AUSF shall receive from each person the following AUSF registration fees:
    Effective member-associations of AUSF Ten U.S. Dollar (USD 10) per competitor and official
    Other associations Twenty U.S. Dollar (USD 20) per competitor and official; The AUSF registration fee will be collected by the CIC before the issues of the competitors’ identity cards.
  • Participation fees:

    The competing countries, upon arrival, shall pay their dues for participation fees USD40 (including food, accommodation, local transportation fees and sightseeing) as determined by the Executive Committee per day and per person to the Organizing Committee.

    • Countries entering in individual sports must pay to the OC a prepayment of 25% of the participation fees of each athlete and official registered on or before 14 May 2010.
    • Upon arrival, each country/region must pay the remaining balance to the OC.

Entries and Closing Date

  • Arrival date and accreditation: 1 July 2010, Departure date: 8 July 2010
  • General Entry Form must be sent back no later than 20 January 2010.
  • Quantitative Entry Form must be sent back no later than 1 March 2010.
  • Nominative and Individual Entry Form must be sent back no later than 14 April 2010.
  • Prepayment of 25% of the participation fees must be no later than 14 May 2010.
  • Delegation Travel Schedule must be sent back no later than 1 June 2010.
  • Two (2) copies of General and Quantitative Entry Forms must be sent to the Organizing Committee and original must be sent to the AUSF General Secretariat.
  • Nominative and Individual Entry Form to be sent back to OC only.
  • Academic Eligibility to be submitted upon arrival.

Note: Should there be more than 16 countries/regions that submit their entries for team events, the OC will only accept the first 16 countries/regions on a first-come-first-served basis.

Rules of the Competition

The 2nd Asian University Table Tennis Championship will be played in accordance with the current Laws of Table Tennis and Regulations for International Competitions as published by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
